Not sure if you'll even see this but will post anyway.
Today we had the playgroup Christmas breakup. Lots of fun. I made a cookie star tree (yes I borrowed your kit). I think it turned out pretty good. I used the cookie mix from Aldi which came with a cutter, icing and sprinkles.
The kids all got presents which was lovely and we did some Christmas craft.
Home now, Evie has just fallen asleep on the floor.
Not much happening today. Resting and cleaning mostly. Still quite cloudy today so temps are. This morning there was a big fire at the tannery. The industrial estate and boundary road were completely shut down. Thankfully the fire crews were able to contain it quickly.
Not long now until you're home. Lilli is so excited (we even have a count down calendar lol). She's even planning things to do with you all when you get home. Don't worry though, we will keep our distance.
Shelli and Sophie came over this morning for a play date. Must've worn them out cause Lilli and Evie are both asleep! Think I might have a nap too. Lilli fell also cuddled up with the crocodile, funny girl.
Its really overcast today and I can hear distant rumbling but doubt we will get an actual storm. Its rained a bit today, not as heavy as during the night though.
It's so dark inside I put the fairy lights on :-) Any excuse will do!

Today we had home church in the morning which was nice. The kids had a ball running around together making a mess.
This afternoon we went to your place for a swim. It was a little chilly thanks to a bit of wind but was still pleasant. We are now watching the Roar v WSW. Lilli is asleep in the command module :-)

So Simon went to net Neo to flush him when he flipped over and started walking!!! Zombie Axolotl!!! So we fed him and he's still going?! Maybe he is on his way out, he is old poor fella.
This afternoon we made some brownie for home church tomorrow. The girls helped "clean" the bowl and spoon lol. PS yes Lilli is nudie, they had just got out of the bath. They both almost needed another bath after they were done with the bowl.
Tonight we went for a drive to look at lights. I cried the entire time. Every display we saw had nothing compared to ours. Even the one we saw that won 4KQ North was utterly boring with basically just fairy lights, two frames and a few blow moulds!!! I would love you to show Lilli the photos of your old displays when you get back. Even though she can't experience it in person I'd love her to still see what it was like. Maybe she will fall in love with lights too?
I thought as the years passed it would get easier but if anything I'm more angry. One day we will get you away from those horrible people, I promise.
Today started quite overcast but the sun is out now. Hoping the clouds will keep the temps a bit lower though.
Not much planned today. Just cleaning mostly. We have home church tomorrow so will be doing some baking for that too.

Lilli was reading The Night Before Christmas to "giant monkey", very cute.
On a sad front Neo our Axolotl died today :'-( Lilli found him belly up in his tank. Pretty upset but nothing we can do now. Hopefully he is happy in Axolotl heaven with Trinity, Nacho and Taco. RIP my little buddy xx

Sorry about no post yesterday. Didn't really do anything worth reporting!
The girls are funny, they have squealing races around the house where they chase after one another and giggle and squeal. Very cute but also very loud!!
This weekend we have home church and then Church of Christ has their Christmas festival thing which we might go to. Paul is doing a bush dance thing which I think the girls would love.
Today is Simons Christmas party for work. Instead of having a dinner or whatever they are actually doing a Masterchef competition. They get team aprons, a qualified chef mentor, money to go buy their ingredients etc. very awesome and such a cool idea.
Yesterday, Evie cuddled up next to me and fell asleep! It was so cute.
We are all wearing red today in Daniels honour as his funeral is today on the sunshine coast.
Today at playgroup we got to paint the salt dough ornaments we made last week. Lilli was very excited but instead of saying ornaments she says audience lol.
It's not as hot as yesterday but still in the 30's.
Hoping today will be a quiet one as I'm feeling very run down at the moment! Kerry said to say hi and that she hopes you are having a fantastic time.
7.30am and it was already 27°!!
Its going to be a long hot day. Air con will get a good work out today!!
I've called Gran & Grandad to make sure they are coping ok in the heat. No answer so I left a message. Have offered to bring them to your place if they need to get into some air con.
At 2pm my thermometer says 39.7°!!
Rachel Rose (nee Weatherall) came over today for a play date. Her girls are nearly 2 and 4 months. Hope and Lillia got on really well. It was great to see her again after so many years apart.
Oh and they've released Daniel Morcombes remains so his parents can finally last him to rest. His funeral is this Friday 7 Dec.
Btw HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!
Mmmm we are having a pasta bake for dinner... Nom nom.

Oh and the girls have started holding hands when they walk, so darn cute!!
39° high expected tomorrow!!!! OMG. Not looking forward to that. There has been a cool breeze this afternoon so hopefully it won't get that high tomorrow (fingers crossed!).

So on the weekend we put up our tree and some decorations.
Only have two presents left to buy and a couple of laybys to pay off but majority of it is done thankfully.
Last night Simon made pasta from scratch- not to shabby lol.
Oh and we got your postcards from London in the mail today. Lillia was so excited!!
